General comments
Candida pyelonefritis / symptomatische candidurie bij fluconazolresistentie: amfotericine B blaasspoeling 500ml 50mg/l 1 dd
Asymptomatische candidurie: indien van toepassing catheter verwijderen, geen antifungale therapie.
Alleen bij low birth weight neonaten, patiënten met niertransplantatie, ernstige neutropenie of geplande chirurgische ingrepen aan de urinewegen behandelen als renale candidiasis.
NB - bij fungus ball: combinatie chirurgische en medicamenteuze therapie
